Wiggly sink & protein grind… life is good! Kenny’s week 46

Howdy!

Man it feels so weird doing the Texas greetings in Argentina haha

This marks the 3rd week I’ve been able to serve as the Mission Secretary, it’s epic work! We had some pretty hefty days this last week, but it’s all been going over fairly smoothly.

- I figured I’d add in pictures of the office Elders so we all have a clear picture of who all we’re working with right now haha

- Sadly, we had to send some Elders home, I don’t have the details on why, but we appreciate their service. We got to the office at 10am that day and didn't leave till about 8:30pm... It was kinda hectic, but it all worked out. Planning ahead really saves your hide down here.

- We’ve had some really interesting experiences in our área... Since week one in Alberdi, we've had a 95% lesson fall-through rate... we schedule everything the day before (which is more than the Argentina standard of “the day of”) with our friends we’re teaching, and the members we'd pass by.  I think we've maybe had 3 lessons keep of the 40 something we've scheduled... It’s crazy out here.

- But! On the days where we have everything drop before we even get to the area (since we work in the office from 10am - 4pm normally), we've actually still been able to find plenty of new people and a few families have set baptismal dates. Crazy how the Lord works through those unseen means.

- We've started a hefty proteín grind between the three of us in the trío, Elder Madsen posed for a perfectly timed foto after we went grocery shopping haha

- Our sink just kinda wiggles everywhere... Its been broken for a while so that’s epic.

- Saw this crazy house with a tree growing through it. Blew my mind.

Other than that, the work keeps moving forward. Hope life is well!
