Elder Kenneth Georg Chalk, LDS Missionary in Rosario, Argentina!🇦🇷

   Howdy! Man it feels so weird doing the Texas greetings in Argentina haha This marks the 3rd week I’ve been able to serve as the Mission Secretary, it’s epic work! We had some pretty hefty days this last week, but it’s all been going over fairly smoothly.  - I figured I’d add in pictures of the office Elders so we all have a clear picture of who all we’re working with right now haha - Sadly, we had to send some Elders home, I don’t have the details on why, but we appreciate their service. We got to the office at 10am that day and didn't leave till about 8:30pm... It was kinda hectic, but it all worked out. Planning ahead really saves your hide down here. - We’ve had some really interesting experiences in our área... Since week one in Alberdi, we've had a 95% lesson fall-through rate... we schedule everything the day before (which is more than the Argentina standard of “the day of”) with our friends we’re teaching, and the members we'd pass by.  I think we've maybe...

  What do you get when you put 2  former choir kids-turned-Elders  in the front seat of a car while doing work for the mission office? The most hilarious renditions of hymns haha Hey guys! Life is still great, and no one's hurt yet so that's a success! - Mom and Dad sent some cute lego-esque missionaries that just sit on my desk... so fun haha - Did a bit of travel and car repairs for the mission vehicles, was a blast sitting in the fun chairs they had at the Toyota dealership! - Had a great zone conference, I’m grateful for how far I've come from the beginning of the mission, in language fluency and people skills... Such a fun gap that's been closed. - We got to teach and train in a mini CCM conference, teaching teens how to go out and talk about Christ! Other than that, just early mornings and late nights prepping for zone conferences and doing logistics work! Hope life stays solid! ~Kenny PS.   Another week down! I don’t actually have too much to say, so let’s get right to it! - Found a banger PLANTS VS ZOMBIES THING, after the Mission ima go and find it again 🔥 - I’ve been streamlining the way we work in the office; I put up a chart of all the missionaries I’m over- it’s super thought-provoking seeing them all on the wall when I’m working - Saw a freaky baby doll in a barbed wire fence while we were on divisions with Elder Rigby, there was some weird stuff going on there haha - We’ll have the opportunity to hear the Prophet and the 12 Apostles talk today, the broadcast is worldwide if anyone wants to join in 😁 https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/?lang=eng That’s about it, keep living life! ~Kenny
