Kenny week 36: Bus rides, Big spiders, Kitten in my pocket, etc.
Qué tal chicos! I’m still alive, and hope the same is applicable for yall o'er yonder!
- To start off strong, we had to do some Tramites (or legal document work) at the beginning of the week, where we drive to Rosario in a BIG bus that lasts about 3 hours one way... Anyway, we got to the station at 6:40am (nothing too crazy), waited a whopping 2 hours because the bus driver was late due to the ridiculous rainstorm that came out of nowhere, and started our journey at about 9am down to Rosario...
So we’re going, going, all seems well...
Well plot twist it wasnt
Delayed another hour on the way down due to stops on the way that took waaay too long
Eventually we get there around 1pm. We’re still alive. All good. Then the Mission Secretary lets us know that the government buildings all close at 1 for the siesta... So we hopped right back on that bus and went another 3.5 hours right back to Venado Tuerto.
I just- why? Nap time was great, yes, I will admit it. But 7.5 hours was whack, man...
But we made it home and had an EPIC night teaching some of our friends. Good stuff after everything haha
- We have a member here who’s starting to build his own computer, so I got to give him tipos on how to organize and start going about constructing it. It’s always weird seeing a computer out here haha they're so rare
- In the big rainstorm there was this house in the middle of nowhere that we just HAD to go by... cause it’s a house... in the middle of nowhere... that got destroyed in the storm...
- Great sports night with good people, literally everyone here plays fútbol its no surprise the activities go so well haha
That’s about it for now...Nothing too crazy. Till the next one,
Élder Chalk
Pics: Dad I’m using the Japanese Shinkansen train as a way to represent the people that are progressing towards Baptism haha
