Elder Kenny Chalk’s Week 28: Baby pizzas, new pans and downpours!

Buen día y’all! Hope life is running smoothly on y’alls end! Let’s just jump right in...

- We found out our Christmas plans! We’ll have a morning Zone Conference and they asked me to sing a solo— I’ll record it for you mama! Then we have to be in by 4pm… we can chat with family for an hour, then we have to stay in the rest of that night and the next day! Apparently it’s to keep us safe and respect people’s family time.

- OK the weather here has officialy lost it’s marbles... We were walking down the road, there were a few clouds just chillin in the sky and we started to hear thunder... We were of course super confused, but kept walking... Then the sky just decides to darken by 2.6 million percent and downpour on us...
We ended up jogging for cover for a second, but on the way a random family invited us inside to take cover for bit haha! Had a fun time with all them, and of course some 10 minutes later the sun was shining like nothing had happened. Vamos Argentina :)

- As a mission we have decided to really go out and aprovechar (or make the most of) this Holiday Season, so we’re talking to everyone handing them these sweet "Jesús is Christmas" cards. For the most part, the feedback is very thumbs up!

- We were eating with some members, and there were these super cute baby pizzas. It was a great refresher from the 22 kilos of food that everyone prepares for the missionaries- and then we end up leaving, barely able to walk because we’re stuffed... Long story short, it’s nice to breathe every once in awhile with nicely proportioned meals...

- Another pretty solid week out in the field. We'll be having interviews with the Mission President this Thursday, so we’re all looking forward to that!

Thats about it. Live long and prosper ;). Élder Chalk
