Elder Kenneth Georg Chalk, LDS Missionary in Rosario, Argentina!🇦🇷

  Another week gone by! In the words of my wise Uncle Christopher, "Missionary time is weird... " Yeah, couldn’t agree more haha, the days are long and weeks short and the months shorter...  Anyway, all is well out in Venado Tuerto! We’re working "a FULL" (said like "fool", just means an absurd amount) everyday and the sun is starting to ramp up its gaze on us haha - Met a few of the incredibly kind families around here, this one lady was so sweet and had such a strong testimony of Christ I was almost brought to tears... and her accent was epic - Had Zone Conference and Tramites (Argentinian ID work) that were both in Rosario, so we got to bus up there twice this week... A nice 12 hours in a bus in total :)  - There are turtles just kinda chillin around here! Didn't have any idea that was a thing!  - Saw this epic spider, doesn’t look all that big in the picture but it was wild... Don’t worry Mom, it was outside haha - We teach English Class Tuesdays n...

  Transfers came and went, we’re now 3 hours away in Venado Tuerto (The "One Eyed Deer")! Bye bye Carcarañá, it was a pleasure. Anyway, I’m with my new companion Èlder Price, he's from Idaho and I’m actually finishing his training!  Quick highlights- - The drain in the bathroom did the opposite of its job and just started spitting out water everywhere and flooded the house... Luckily we had a squeegie so I was redirecting the water outside... That was going on for a good hour I think haha - We live in a shared house with another set of Elders, it’s a blast to get new perspectives from others as we’re all working towards the same goal - My Spanish got a major growth spurt this week, I can talk pretty dang fluently and understand 90% of what’s going on here... That’s insane There weren't many picture moments last week... I’ll try to get more this week haha! Love Kenny

Alriiiiight here we are again! Coming to the end of the second transfer this next week, it'll be interesting to see what all goes down! This week was weird, felt long but I feel like I LITERALLY just wrote the email for last week five minutes ago haha - Passed the 4 month mark! - Got to lead my area in splits last Tuesday with a new greenie (new missionary), it was crazy watching the Spanish I’d learned just go full out WAMBAMPOW and everyone understood what we were saying... Miracles happen folks haha - Lots of working this week, nothing all that crazy went down - General Conference was phenomenal, President Nelson's invitation to rededicate our lives to Christ was pretty dang powerful!
