Well- that was fast! Good times all around, but nothing too crazy to report as we near the end of language "Boot Camp." I can confidently hold my own in Spanish, but need to actually be exposed to solely Spanish before I can make any real growth. Yeah, it’ll be absurdly difficult, but what’s life without a challenge...

Highlights:

- Taught my Companion how to solve a Rubiks Cube, he’s getting under 2 minutes before solving it pretty consistently
- Started marking up both Book of Mormon and Bible on points that support each other... it’s pretty much all marked up as I’m going, that’s a great sign haha
- Lots of cool devotionals, with the Apostles giving amazing feedback and pointers for our work. Last night’s big takeaway was "No one cares, get over yourself,” in tandem with when we talk to people and they start talking about what their parents or ancestors have done... "Thats nice. What have you done lately?"
- I’m downloading a few choral songs before I head to Argentina. If y'all have any recommendations for Music, please send them my way haha
- I’ve gotten to visit the Mexico City temple twice- now it’s closed for cleaning
- No other missionaries I’m aware of have family in Texas affected by the storms- I’ve been praying for everyone there. Glad the family was safe
- Elder Hinton & Sister Phelps and I performed ‘I Stand All Amazed’ Friday for new incoming missionaries (Link: https://youtu.be/n6qBxqmxMig)
- My clothes & shoes are holding up great and I’m trying to remember to take vitamins Mom๐Ÿ˜…
- Fun fact: we have 6 beds, and only 4 people in our room. I sleep on a bottom bunk and pull the blanket thru the slats above me and make a cocoon,  it’s great. I listen to music from 10:30- 11/lights out.
- The first few weeks we did role-play teaching lessons with investigators. Now our schedule is:

1 hr morning private study

6 hrs classroom with teachers

3 hrs group companionship

Don’t know what else to say... things will be more interesting in the field.

Till we meet again!

Pics, including FaceTiming Scout, 4th of July, our awesome District, & Stephen making me jealous with my favorite Subway sandwich…
